Last week developers announced that the guildleve system in Final Fantasy XIV would be overhauled. A new developer blog has shown up on the Final Fantasy XIV Lodestone that lays out the details of exactly what that 'reform' means.

Funcom has a brief profile of three new monsters players will encounter in The Secret World. The Wendigo, Deep Ones and the Ak'ab. As with all things The Secret World, these monsters are creatures of mythology or legend from various locations around the world.

APB: Reloaded: The Next Big Thing

The APB Reloaded blog has been updated with a new post called The Next Big Thing. In the blog, TechMech discusses the next patch. The team has bug fixes, quest enhancements, new items, meta-grouping "for better PUG-ing" and more. In addition, known issues are outlined with a bit of information about potential fixes.

World of Warcraft: Limited Free to Play Adopted

Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft is adopting a limited free to play option for players who'd like to 'try before buy'. Players can take advantage of levels 1-20 with some limitations including gold acquisition, guild membership, voice chat, etc. This new program replaces the 10-day free trials previously offered by Blizzard.
