General: Side-Scrolling MMO StarBreak Headed to Steam

Crunchy Games has announced that its side-scrolling action MMO called StarBreak will be heading to Steam and will be available beginning May 10th. StarBreak is considered a skill-based action platformer based in an alien-infested world. You can check out the trailer below that also sports a fair bit of gameplay as well. The announcement by Daum that Black Desert Online had sold 400,000 copies was quite a surprise. Not because I wasn't expecting some sort of announcement but because the figure struck me as particularly low. For what could be argued as the last AAA title for some time and one that - seemingly - has been anticipated for an age, it's odd to think it's had sales of less than half a million.

General: Diablo 2 Remade with Starcraft II Engine

A new video by user "Egod" has popped up on YouTube with alpha footage of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction remade using the Starcraft II tools. The mod will be hosted via Battle.Net and will be free to Starcraft II players. The video shows off alpha footage from "The Curse of Tristram: Destruction's End" that is set to go into its earliest testing phase later this year.
