SMITE Tactics - Closed Beta Kicks Off Today

During this weekend's Hi-Rez Expo, the company announced that SMITE Tactics is now officially in its closed beta phase of development. Players are invited to head to the game's official site to sign up as a possible tester and to check out the Founder's Pack that contains fifteen card packs, a legendary card, a special icon and immediate access to CBT.

Paladins: Champions of the Realm - Competitive Season 1 to Begin in 2017

Paladins players are chomping at the bit to get started in competitive play and will have their dreams come true later this year when Season 1 kicks off. During this inaugural season, Hi-Rez will be committed to adding new champions and content including a new castle art-themed map coming very soon. The new map will feature more "corridor style game play with added layers of verticality".

SMITE - God Reveal - The Morrigan, Phantom Queen

During this week's Hi-Rez Expo, it was revealed that the next SMITE god to join the game is none other than The Morrigan, the Phantom Queen. She will be joining the fray after the deployment of patch 3.25.

During today's Hi-Rez Expo, the company announced its entry into the collectible card game genre by naming SMITE Rivals. SMITE Rivals will feature deities and characters from SMITE and will be free to play on both PC and mobile devices. Matches are 1v1 across three lanes with players sending units in each to take the enemy's tower.

Homestead, the forthcoming mega housing patch for Elder Scrolls Online, just hit the Public Test Server and we dove in eagerly to view a few of the more luxurious spaces and see how the decorating works. Alongside all the new homely goodness, ESO is also adding furniture crafting, overhauling a ton of class and weapon skills for balance, and tweaking loads of other aspects to the game.

Razer has taken the Consumer Electronics Show by storm with its revelation of Project Valerie, a three-monitor laptop. Project Valerie features three 17.3" monitors encased in a 1.5" thick, 12 pound laptop. Opening the laptop sees each of the side displays automatically and mechanically slide out of the main screen and then adjust to the proper place.

Conquer Online - Windwalker Class to be Added on January 12th

Proving that old dogs can learn new tricks, thirteen year old Conquer Online will be updating on January 12th with a brand new class called the Windwalker, a dual class character. The Windwalker comes as part of the Might of Shadow Fan expansion.

According to Eurogamer, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is on track for a March 2017 release date for Japan and North America. Europe's release is in flux at the current time. In the waning days of 2016, Nintendo sources revealed that the game was content complete but still needed four to six months of QA testing before being ready to launch. Sources further indicated that Nintendo's Switch console needs a strong launch and that Zelda will help facilitate that.

DC Universe Online - Celebrate the 6th Anniversary with the Anti-Monitor Event

DC Universe Online is turning six years old and are bringing an anniversary event into the game to get players involved in the celebration. From now through January 31st, players can take part in the Anti-Monitor Anniversary event that brings new open world missions, a new 8-player raid called Centennial Collapse, new gear, collections, feats and much more into the game for the duration.

Persona 5 - Enough's Enough Already - Atlus Confirms No PC Port

Atlus Public Relations Manager John Hardin has had enough of people asking if Persona 5 will be released on any other platform than PlayStation. In a tersely worded Twitter post, Hardin confirmed that Persona 5 will be released on any other platform than PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 (this also goes for Yakuza).

Netmarble's Star Wars: Force Arena is a Star Wars take on the popular real-time mobile multiplayer game, Clash Royale with a bit of a twist. Like Supercell's Clash of Clans before it, Clash Royale is one of many mobile games that, again, basically plays itself. Force Arena, however, gives you a leader character to control, which is enough of a wrinkle to make the entire thing a whole lot more engaging.
