War Thunder - Way of the Samurai Brings Japanese Ground Forces to Bear

War Thunder has been updated with the Way of the Samurai content patch. Most notably, Japanese tanks have been deployed into the game including Types 74, 61, the ST-A1 and the Type 3 Chi-Nu. In addition, tanks will now feature "hydropneumatic suspension, 3D cockpits for all aircraft and two new locations (38th Parallel and Abandoned Factory) have been deployed.

Variety is reporting that Kabam Inc. has sold most of its assets to Korean gaming giant, Netmarble, including the Vancouver studio currently behind the juggernaut mobile title, Marvel Contest of Champions. The purchase will become complete in January 2017.

Webzen has announced that the December update for Continent of the Ninth Seal will be going live later today. Players can look forward to the Chaos Spire, a new "extreme raid dungeon" that is designed for six players and offers the most challenging and difficult content in the game. La Tale - Demigod Content Update Launches

OGPlanet has announced that the Demigod Update for La Tale has officially launched. The Demigod class joins the available player classes and brings the number to sixty. Not officially part of Origin's "On the House" program, Mass Effect 2 is currently free through EA's gaming platform for the time being. BioWare's Twitter indicated that it is going to be giving away five days worth of free games, beginning with what many see as the finest of the original Mass Effect trilogy of games. The base game is free of charge without any of the additional DLC. There is no telling when the 'free' status will lift or if this is available in all regions. Caveat Emptor!

A post made by Final Fantasy XIV Game Director Naoki Yoshida over the weekend was made to clarify to the community the background behind the new "Jumping Potions" that are now available in both the Korean and Chinese FFXIV markets. These potions are intended to "make it easier for the newer players to catch up with the rest of the community". Lord of the Rings Online players had to wait a few extra days for the annual Yule Festival but it should be worth it with the addition of several new items: a starry kite, cloak, robes and travel mount. In addition, war-steeds can see several new items too: caparison, antlers, saddle, leggings and tailpiece.
