- What We May Hear About Diablo During Blizzcon Posted: 03 Nov 2016 07:00 AM PDT With Blizzcon 2016 ready to kick off with the opening ceremony just about 24-hours from now, and with recent Internet breathlessness over the "leaked" image showing both a male and female Necromancer as well as a year's worth of job postings for an "unannounced Diablo project", the hype for a possible major Diablo franchise announcement has reached heights it hasn't in many years. |

Wizard101 - The Shinobi Bundle Is Here! Posted: 02 Nov 2016 01:00 PM PDT Wizard101 officially announced its newest bundle last week - the Shinobi Bundle. World of Warcraft - How Legion Changed WoW Posted: 02 Nov 2016 10:00 AM PDT In recent years MMOs have made some big changes. Over time games had been built on this giant leveling curve. Warcraft itself had zones which you played through in times to level up and then basically never went to again. This created a huge vacuum which left most of the surface of Azeroth empty as players moved on. However, Legion has really made the push to utilize the whole continent, something that Warcraft should be looking at in the future. |

According to Kotaku, the official Civilization Online website has been updated with a notice that all monetary services for the game are now shut down and that game servers will be closing on December 7th. |
Star Wars: The Old Republic - Star Wars and the Modern MMO Posted: 02 Nov 2016 07:00 AM PDT I often think about how I'd love to play SWTOR - only re-imagined with the new landscape of MMOs in mind. But things like action combat or even a smaller set of active abilities probably aren't going to ever happen for SWTOR, so where does that leave things for the future of Star Wars and online games? |
