Twin Saga - A Fun Romp Through a Lively World

When I first started playing Twin Saga I didn't really know what expect because it isn't a game I had been actively following. As an Anime MMORPG it holds onto a fairly niche market in the MMO world and I hadn't played any of the previous Anime inspired MMOs. What I found was an interesting game with easy to learn systems, beautiful artistry, and a ton of content to dive into.

Fragmented - New Patch Brings Overhauled Progression System Online

The latest update to Fragmented is a big one that brings the completely overhauled progression system online. Players now have fifteen skill ranks across seventy-five levels to choose from plus additional opportunities to gain skill points. NPC and item progression have been improved as well alongside changes to construction and significant changes to the genetic engineering system.

The latest Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen newsletter has been posted with a couple of great opportunities to learn more about the upcoming title. In the first, the VIP community was invited to submit questions to the team. Queries covered many topics including whether or not raids will be included, how support roles will share utility, how starting cities will remain viable throughout the game and many others.

Rift - Haunting Autumn Harvest Gives Players a Reason to Say Boo

Rift players have tons of fun to look forward to with the arrival of the Autumn Harvest, an annual in-game event. Players can head to the Monster Mash in the Black Garden and can earn some costumes, the Necro Budgie mount, and take part in some holiday-themed quests.

World of Warcraft - Great Collegiate Dungeon Race Tournament Announced

The World of Warcraft community site has been updated with a new post to announce the Great Collegiate Dungeon Race. Four players per team will be racing through three Mythic +6 dungeons using their preferred classes with a predetermined skill template, artifact level and gear. Teams will have three days to score their best times in each that will determine placement in the tournament brackets where participants will compete for a share of $20,000 in scholarship funds.

Escape from Tarkov - New Video Diary Explores the Collection of Sound References

Battlestate Games has released the latest Escape from Tarkov video developer diary that centers around the collection of sound references, the seemingly small things that make a realistic MMO. The development team traveled to Concern Kalashnikov to allow the firing of prototype weapons to give Escape from Tarkov its realistic sound.

World of Warcraft - Chilton Leaves as Game Director, Hazzikostas Taking Over

Tom Chilton has published a lengthy letter on the World of Warcraft community forum to let players know that he is moving on from his position as Game Director to a new project "just down the hall" at Blizzard. He names Ion Hazzikostas as his replacement and that "WoW will be in great hands with Ion at the helm".

Skyforge - The Outlaw Detailed in New Video & Dev Diary

The Skyforge site has been updated with a closer look at the game's newest class, the Outlaw. The developer diary goes into detail about the lore behind the Outlaw as well as examines each of the character's abilities. The Outlaw can be purchased as part of its special Collector's Edition for $34.99.

Winning Putt - New All Hallow's Eve Event Swings Into Game

Winning Putt has been updated with a new patch that brings tricks and treats into the game. Players can earn goody bags that can contain costumes, special Halloween-themed clubs and golf balls. The event will take place from today through November 3rd and goody bags are earned for logging into Winning Putt, while weekend log in rewards two goody bags.

From today through Tuesday, October 18th, anyone can check out Smash+Grab for free. The event kicks off at 12:00 pm Pacific / 3:00 pm Eastern today and runs through the same time next Tuesday. In addition, Smash+Grab will be sporting a nice 15% discount for anyone looking to take part in the Early Access version of the game.

Guardians of Ember - First Backer Experience Planned for October 20th

The Guardians of Ember team has sent word that the first backer event will be taking place beginning on October 20th and that it will run for one week. During the testing period, players will be able to try out about five hours of the main quest line and explore the New Ku'dan story dungeon.
