Guild Wars 2: $200k Prize Pool in the 2016 World Champioinship

The Guild Wars 2 World Championship has been detailed along with the most important fact that there is a $200k prize pool with the winning team taking home a cool $100k of it in addition to the title. The top six teams in the world will be heading to the ESL Studios near Los Angeles to compete in the single-elimination tournament to determine the ultimate victor.

Fragmented has been updated with the latest patch that bring a long list of bug fixes and improvements into the game. Players can expect more intuitive AI, inventory management has been given a pass and vehicles have been improved as well. In addition, players will now be able to move some housing structures.

Marc Thompson from Ub3rgames has reached out to let us know that Darkfall: New Dawn is ready for the initial deployment of game servers beginning June 28, 2016. In addition, Thompson reveals that the team has adopted a "pay for what you get" business model that includes a 19.99 Euro initial purchase that includes two months of subscription time with monthly subscription fees to run 9.99 Euro.

Illyriad: Combat API Shared with Community to Foster In-Game Spirit

The Illyriad team has a new blog post and interview with players Kodabear and Digioso about the recently released combat API that will allow players and communities to host their own tournaments and contests. Using the combat API, players can share combat information with others or it can lead to player-created tools and more, something the devs call "creating your own game spirit".

Shroud of the Avatar: A Persistent World Post Update 32

The Shroud of the Avatar team has sent notice that the final wipe of persistent player data will be handled prior to the release of Update 32. From that point forward, the world will become a persistent place, though it is not to be confused with the game's final release.

Korean professional Overwatch player "Gegury" has silenced her accusers, two of whom have left the professional gaming scene altogether as promised. During the Nexus Cup qualifying matches, Gegury, who plays as Zarya (with an 80% win rate over 420 games), was accused by opponents which prompted Blizzard to take a look. Cleared by Blizzard Korea, Gegury took things one step further and live-streamed herself playing a nearly flawless match to prove her skills are legit.

Livelock: Multi-Platform Release Slated for August 2nd

ELOA: Elite Lord of Alliance: Level Cap Increases with Outlaw's Emperor Release

Webzen has announced that the latest update to ELOA has been released that will see the level cap increased to 50. Called Epic 2: Outlaw's Emperor, the new content includes a pair of dungeons and the new Veren Arena. From now through July 12th, players can take part in special in-game events hosted by the ELOA team.
