ARK: Survival Evolved: Official Mods Program To Launch In May Posted: 24 Apr 2016 01:37 AM PDT The ARK: Survival Evolved team has announced that it will be continuing to support the efforts of modding community with the release of the Official Mods Program, starting in May 2016. The first map to be released using the new program will be called The Center. The new tools will be fully integrated into the ARK system and will be available both for Xbox One and PC users. |
General: Seven: A Gritty Post-Apocalyptic Story-Driven RPG Posted: 23 Apr 2016 01:19 AM PDT At PAX East I got a look at Seven: The Days Long Gone, a new, story-driven, isometric RPG by IMGN.PRO and Fool's Theory. In Seven you play Teriel, a young man whose skillset lends itself to thievery and sneakery. Teriel soon runs afoul of a bunch of cultists who subject him to a strange ritual, which causes the demon Artanak to be imprisoned within him. Artanak sends Teriel to Peh in the Vetrell Empire seeking... something. Given that it's a demon looking for it, it can't be good. |
General: 'It's No Secret There's Going To Be Another Borderlands' Posted: 24 Apr 2016 01:31 AM PDT According to Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford, "It's no secret, obviously there's going to be another Borderlands". Pitchford made the statement at this weekend's PAX East and further revealed that Battleborn art director Scott Kester will also be working on the project. Mikey Neumann will be the author of the storyline. |
General: EVE Fanfest 2016 - Understanding the Purpose of Project Nova Posted: 22 Apr 2016 05:22 PM PDT At EVE FanFest, CCP Games made a brave decision: to share some of their latest projects with players, and let them go hands-on with the work-in-progress. For experiences that cut new ground, such as EVE: Valkyrie and Project Arena, there's a certain wow-factor. But, as a first-person shooter, Project Nova has a much tougher crowd to please. |
The Repopulation: Fragmented: NDA Lifts, Free To All Owners Posted: 24 Apr 2016 01:20 AM PDT Above And Beyond Technologies' developer J.C. Smith has sent word that the NDA for Fragmented has officially lifted several days ahead of the game's launch on Steam, scheduled for April 26th. In addition, Smith wrote that all current owners of The Repopulation will have the game automatically added to their Steam library. |
World of Warcraft: Veering from Lore, the Feeling Should Still Remain Familiar Posted: 22 Apr 2016 05:51 PM PDT Duncan Jones took to the stage at PAX East earlier today to talk about the Warcraft movie. Jones wants viewers and those familiar with the Warcraft universe to 'feel at home' yet he did acknowledge that the movie will "veer from the lore", though always with the "blessing of Legendary and Blizzard". |

Battleborn: Third Motion Comic, No More Heroics, Released Posted: 23 Apr 2016 01:49 AM PDT |

General: I Am Setsuna: Leveraging Modern Tech While Paying Homage to the Past Posted: 23 Apr 2016 01:04 AM PDT For anyone who is a fan of classic JRPGs, especially Chrono Trigger, I Am Setsuna is a game you should be looking forward to. This game leverages all the technological advances of the last 20 years while also paying homage to the old classics. Although I had previously heard about this game the demo here at PAX East was my first chance to actually play. |
General: Fated: A Story-Driven VR RPG Experience Posted: 23 Apr 2016 01:12 AM PDT I recently got the opportunity to see Fated: The Silent Oath, being produced by Frima, for Occulus, Playstation VR, and HTC Veve, slated for release at the end of April. I went into this with no idea what Fated was, or what to expect, and I must say I was blown away. Fated is a story-driven RPG, with a great deal of emphasis on the wide array of vibrant and interesting characters for you to interact with. |
