Crunchy Games Reveals Starbreak, a Frantic 2D Side-Scroller

Crunchy Games, makers of Realm of the Mad God, have announced a new title called "Starbreak". Starbreak is considered by the team to be a "Metroidvania-like MMO" and is poised in Steam's Greenlight campaign for inclusion on the multi-games platform.

Daum to Restrict IPs to EU and NA Only

According to the Terms of use for Black Desert Online for the European and North American regions, IP blocks will be implemented to restrict the player base to those specific locations only. Players from other worldwide locations will have to play the version licensed for that area.

Per Hero Progression Removed Prior to Beta Start

Bill Murphy sent along this tidbit of information straight from Blizzcon: Prior to the commencement of Overwatch beta testing, per-hero progression similar to that found in Heroes of the Storm was removed as it "goes against the idea they want about players being able to swap heroes on the fly."
