Dark Souls 3: Play the Lottery - Join the Upcoming PS4 Network Stress Test Posted: 18 Sep 2015 04:38 PM PDT The Dark Souls III team is looking for PlayStation 4 owners with internet access to join up for several network stress test events. The events will take place regionally during October, with players selected in a "lottery" type drawing. Applicants will be testing game systems and balance, helping the team track bugs, helping to evaluate the load on servers and more. |
General: Whats Your Preferred Type of Endgame? Posted: 18 Sep 2015 04:44 PM PDT It's often said that in level-based MMORPGs, the endgame represents a completely different gameplay experience than that which precedes it. Some developers have gone as far as to say that it's at the level cap where the game actually starts - which is ludicrous if you've spent over a hundred hours grinding through content just to make it there. |
Camelot Unchained: First Class Presentation Coming Next Week Posted: 18 Sep 2015 04:29 PM PDT The Camelot Unchained team will be focused on IT testing several new systems in the alpha build of the game so things will be quieter than usual until next week when the first class presentation will be revealed to the world. The presentation, which will tentatively take place on Wednesday, September 24th via Twitch, will begin a series of events to unveil the classes that will be present in Camelot Unchained. |

Devilian: Life in the Alpha So Far Posted: 18 Sep 2015 08:50 AM PDT It took a long time to bring ArcheAge over to the US and EU when Trion imported XLGAMES' MMO. That doesn't seem to be the case with Bluehole Ginno's Action MMORPG, Devilian. Now just a few short weeks into the founder's alpha the NDA has been lifted and Trion says beta is right around the corner. Today, we're offering our thoughts on the alpha so far. |
General: The 35 Greatest MMOs of All Time: Numbers 35 to 26 Posted: 18 Sep 2015 02:25 AM PDT This will ruffle some feathers. The staff at MMORPG.com, from President Craig McGregor and CTO Ben Krueger, to our wonderful list of reviewers, columnists, and community managers, all the way down to your humble and lowly Managing Editor (me) have voted.
