Destiny: House of Wolves - Rounding Out & Spicing Up the Content Posted: 21 May 2015 03:38 PM PDT Destiny has been a polarizing force in gaming since its launch last September. It came out to middling reviews and an incredibly vocal base of Bungie fans who expressed intense disappointment at the lack of the same kind of narrative drive they had come to love in the developer's Halo series. Even still, people kept logging in and playing. According to Activision Blizzard, Destiny and Hearthstone combined had 50 million registered users as of March 31st this year. |

Pathfinder Online: Early Enrollment Patch Rolls Out Posted: 21 May 2015 02:17 PM PDT The v8.2 early enrollment patch for Pathfinder Online has been deployed and comes packed with content. Of significant note is the overhauled New Player Experience, changes and additions to outposts and holding, company "feuds", the introduction of elementals, and a bit about recruitment and buddy keys. |

Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster: A Brilliant Layer of Polish on a Classic Game Posted: 22 May 2015 06:44 AM PDT Over the past three months I've played a lot of revamped, rebooted, or High Definition, upgrades of classic JRPGs. Some of them were for reviews, Xenoblade Chronicles, Soul Survivor Devil Breaker Vol 2, and another was just for fun, Final Fantasy Type-0. This week continues the reboot trend with Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition for the Playstation 4. At the risk of spoiling the rest of the review Final Fantasy X / X-2 has by far been the best of the bunch. |

Heroes of the Storm: How to Be a MOBA Noob Posted: 21 May 2015 07:32 AM PDT This week, with Heroes of the Storm hitting Open Beta, and closing in on launch in just two weeks, we figured it might be a good time to toss a terrible MOBA player into the Nexus and see what he learns. Our own Matt Short was up for the challenge, and this is what he came back with. Learn with him or laugh at him after the break! |

Star Wars: The Old Republic: Shadow of Revan - Short, Sweet, and to the Point Posted: 19 May 2015 06:40 PM PDT It's been four and a half months since BioWare Austin released the second full expansion of Star Wars: The Old Republic, entitled Shadow of Revan. At the launch and since that time, the level cap increased to 60, everyone's skill trees were replaced by Disciplines, they've added story encompassing three new planets, we now have a better means of managing our characters' outfits, and there have been a few new Flashpoints and Operations. |
