Elder Scrolls Online: Zenimax Update Mistake? Posted: 21 May 2014 01:10 AM PDT We're now in the second full month for The Elder Scrolls Online. Those that are still enjoying their time in Tamriel have stayed past the first free month and the five free days Zenimax gave out. Yet, it has been a couple of weeks since Matt Firor posted about the game's road ahead, and some are getting restless, since the Craglorn update has no confirmed release, and much anticipated key fixes are coming in that update too. |
PlanetSide 2: Implants Arrive in Game, Allow for Strategic Loadouts Posted: 19 May 2014 06:59 PM PDT Sony Online Entertainment and the Planetside 2 team have announced that Implants are now available in game. Implants allow players to build more strategic loadouts for optimal game play. In addition to the implants, players will also find that Howling Pass has been updated and that the Medic class has received the once-over. |

Along with the usual development update comes the news that the Early Enrollment Land Grab will be reactivated soon and that the online store is available as are options to manage pledges. |

General: My Most Memorable MMOGs Posted: 18 May 2014 06:40 PM PDT It's approaching two decades since I started writing about the massively multiplayer category. I don't recall the exact date or even which title was the first I covered, but since then, I've played hundreds for at least a few hours each, and seen lots more. Recently, I was asked which ones I most remember. While this question may seem simple enough, it took me a fair bit of time and thought to answer. |

Shards Online: Playable Build to be Released to Backers Soon Posted: 20 May 2014 12:33 PM PDT |
The Secret World: A TSW Wish List Posted: 18 May 2014 06:13 PM PDT While we continue to wait for the moment when we can get into Tokyo I thought I would take a bit of time to skip ahead and look at things that would in my mind take The Secret World from fantastic to out of this world. These are all things that would keep people playing or improve the quality of life and could possibly be implemented post Tokyo. So in no particular order here are seven things I'd like to see introduced to TSW. |
