A few years back, I played Atlantica Online for a couple of months. I was always wondering, where the heck is the continent of Atlantis, with the mindset that the game's name was derived from there. Of course, Atlantis was never in the game during the early days due to the storyline (see below), until developer Ndoors (now part of Nexon) finally revealed the upcoming update, The Rise Of Atlantis, to Korean gaming website GameMeca.

| LOTRO's Riders of Rohan Expansion Rides Into Beta with a New Trailer Posted:
Saddle up, folks! Lord of the Rings Online launches the closed beta of its latest expansion, Riders of Rohan, later today. From 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. EDT tonight, testers will have the chance to explore the new land and try out the new quests. Unfortunately, the new mounted combat system isn't slated to be tested until the beta event happening on July 20th. Turbine has, however, just released the first video showcasing this combat feature that will allow players to remain on their steeds as they fight their foes. Arena Net just recently made a blog post on their recent changes to W3 and the server updates.It's definitely interesting that they chose to address some of the problems players have been having with the World vs. World vs. World experience and not an overall review of what went wrong and right. I definitely appreciate Arena Net know what they're doing and every beta weekend event that they have means leaps and bounds for the improvement of the game, but I think admitted fault is a huge part of that. They've definitely acknowledged they've made some bad decisions; a good example of this would be the amount of worlds they had just because they could, not because they should.
