WildStar: Steam Page Reveals June 1st Release

The WildStar Steam page has been updated from "coming soon" to Available: June 1st. This is fantastic news for the struggling title as a Steam release has the potential to bring big numbers of players.

World of Warcraft: Re-tuning the Early Leveling Experience

Blizzard devs have posted a short note in this week's hotfix update to World of Warcraft. In it, they explain that the 1-20 "low level" experience has been gradually being tuned over the last couple of weeks that add some modern conveniences to the earliest levels of the game and that the pace of combat has been adjusted.

World of Warcraft: First Movie Reviews - A Mixed Bag So Far

The first Warcraft movie reviews are in and are showing a mediocre reception at best. Variety subtitles it "Hollywood's habit of turning hit video games into unwatchable movies continues unabated" while The Wrap says "swords, sorcery and stupidity abound in game adaptation".

World of Warcraft: Movie-Inspired Transmog Items Available NOW

Any World of Warcraft player logging into the game between now and August 1st will receive the "Warcraft" movie transmog (cosmetic) items to add permanently to their collection. For Horde characters, the items are a staff and an axe; for Alliance characters, items include a sword and shield.

Das Tal: Help Your Clan Earn Respect, Get Stuff!

The Das Tal team is encouraging player clans to earn Respect during the July Alpha Test. Those clans earning the highest Respect numbers will be able to score any one of a number of Nomad Packs.

Albion Online: Adventures in the Steppe Biome

A storm is brewing outside. It looks like it might rain, we need the rain. The cruelty is that is won't. It will rumble. The wind will kick up dust. The clouds with burst with lightning and - nothing. A few sprinkles just to tease us with what could have been and nothing. It's spring but the grass looks faded and the tress look wilted. Skyforge: Class Rebalancing to Begin in Cybernetic Alliance

The Skyforge development team is providing players with a sampling of how "under-represented" classes will be seeing significant increases to damage output or by realignment of skills to provide a different game play experience. These changes will be incoming with the arrival of the Cybernetic Alliance update. The process of rebalancing classes is, as the devs write, an ongoing process that requires data collection and testing prior to making its way into the game.

Blade & Soul: New Pet System Provides Defensive Player Buffs

When the next Blade & Soul update, Vengeance Breaks, is released on June 1st, players at level 50 will be able to obtain and collect a variety of pets from Heroic dungeons or pet pouches from the Hongmoon Store. Pets are not just eye candy either as each one, depending on rarity, can provide a powerful defensive boon to players.

Project Genom: Latest Update Places Game One Step Closer to Early Access

The Project Genom team has posted its latest list of changes to the game and further revealed that things are progressing well towards Early Access. In this latest patch, most locations have been reworked with new lighting effects, quests overhauled, and bug fixes. Battleborn: Alani Released & Next DLC Hero Announced

2K and Gearbox have announced that Alani, the newest Battleborn hero, has been released and have discounted the game to a bargain price of $40. Alani is a water-bending warrior monk and is the first of five heroes coming to Battleborn over the next several months. Season Pass holders and PS4 open beta players will have Alani unlocked for free beginning today with all others able to work towards unlocking her beginning May 31st.

SMITE: Unlock Special Items with the Viking Invasion Pass

SMITE players can now take advantage of a new in-game feature by grabbing the Viking Invasion Pass. Players can take part in special Viking-themed quests to earn 'battle-hardened' versions of Storm Jarl Chaac and Blood Jarl Kali.

Dual Universe: A Continuous Single Shard Universe

Novaquark has lifted the lid on its new project called Dual Universe. Called a "continuous single-shard universe" players are able to edit the game word and build without restrictions. The game will be played in first-person view in a universe packed with planets to explore and player ability to explore, mine, craft, trade, battle and participate in politics.
