Launch Date Set For August 27th

Korean publisher JC Planet Co. this week announced the official launch of Legend of Silkroad, an MMO based on the three-way struggle for dominance of the "legendary" Silk Road. The battle rages among three powerful kingdoms: China, Persia and Rome, all of which know that control of a certain type of Magic Stone means dominance not only over the realm of man, but of heaven and hell.

Meeting Miguel Caron was an absolute pleasure. Though I personally am not into Warhammer 40k, (it's a bit too dark for my taste) I always take great pleasure in meeting developers who are passionate about the game they're making and Miguel has enough passion to fuel an entire studio and then some. He was exciting to listen to and even though there wasn't any hands-on time with the game we still left the meeting excited.

Somewhere out there in the inscrutable network of eBay delivery, there's a PS4 that's making its way excruciatingly slowly towards my apartment. In preparation for this new addition to the family, I've been going through some older console games that have taken a back seat to newer titles and PC exclusives. Shadowgate is now on Steam and brings back these classic RPG days with great flare. The game takes you through a great adventure to the living castle of Shadowgate which has been overwhelmed by a dark force, you have been chosen by an old sage to right the wrongs and bring the castle to its former glory. Nothing is easy in this game.
