Winning Putt - Steam Launch Day Arrives with New Content

Bandai-Namco has sent word that it's golfing MMO, Winning Putt, has officially landed on Steam. The new version has launched with new content including a new course that will become to players at level seven and above.

Black Desert Online - The Tamer Class Awakens

The Tamer class is joining other Black Desert Online classes as Awakened with the completion of this week's maintenance. Awakened Tamers will gain access to the Celestial Bo Staff and be able to take the fight to enemies faster along with high skill and defense. The Secret World - Devs Teasing Out Samhain Event Coming Later Today

When maintenance is complete on The Secret World, players will finally learn what this year's Samhain event will entail. Devs have been hinting around about Samhain on the game's Twitter account. The images are seemingly parts of a scorched book or letter with cryptic messages accompanying them.

World of Warcraft - How to Access New Legion Content

World of Warcraft: Legion received a major update this week in the form of v7.1. Players will find a lot of new content including the Mythic-only Karazhan dungeon, the Trial of Valor mini-raid, the continuation of the Illidan and Suramar storylines and much more. However, not all content will become available right from the get-go on launching WoW for the first time after the update's launch. Most will require a bit of legwork on behalf of the player.

- Turtle Rock Ceases Development on Evolve

Evolve developer Turtle Rock has bid an emotional farewell to the multiplayer shooter. As of yesterday, the studio will no longer support Evolve, though Evolve Stage 2 servers will remain online, according to a statement given to Polygon by 2K. Though Turtle Rock has completed its development run with Evolve, the studio is not finished with game development.

Amazon Lumberyard, the company's ground-up engine partially based on the CryEngine, is opening an office in Austin, Texas, long a haven for MMO developers. In a new post on the Amazon Web Services site, the announcement reveals that Austin is a great place for Lumberyard's continued development to make an engine to "help game developers build the community-driven games that push both engine and cloud technology".
