WG Labs Announces Release Date For Hybrid Wars

Wargaming's WG Labs has announced that Hybrid Wars will be released on September 29th on Steam and GOG. Hybrid Wars is a '90s inspired top-down shooter with 21st Century updates.

Digital Extremes has announced that the Silver Grove update has been deployed for XBox One and Playstation 4 versions of Warframe. Most notably the update includes a new glyph system, improvements to Lunaro team sport and player created content.

Square Enix has sent out a brand new trailer to give Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward players a forward look at v3.4 "Soul Surrender". The trailer was released during this week's Tokyo Game Show and shows off the penultimate part of the Alexander raid, a pair of new dungeons, adventurer squadrons, Palace of the Dead and much more. Soul Surrender is slated for release on September 27th.

Paladins has finally entered its open beta stage, their last closed beta stages finished on CB33 with a list of changes and improvements, one of the characters named Ying has been temporarily removed while they fix some issues with her and will be added back into the game at hopefully some point soon.

When Trion first announced that Rift was going to become a free-to-play game, it brought up a lot of questions about how locked down it was going to be. But as time has gone on, especially as of lately, the game has been moving away from its F2P model in the name of monetization.
