ArenaNet has announced that war torn Lion's Arch will once again shine as the jewel of Tyria when the next Guild Wars 2 update goes live. Said to be heavy on defenses, yet easy on the eyes, Lion's Arch will also sport several new names submitted by the players.

Tangrin and Versus Evil have announced that the Viking-themed ARPG, Kyn, will be headed to retail release on July 28th. The basic game will sell for $19.99, with a deluxe edition containing in- and out-of game perks selling for $24.99.

Hellgates, Dungeons and a PvP Twist Revealed

The latest Albion Online video developer diary has been published to give players new information about Hellgates. Players in the game work together to bring down gatekeepers which, on death, can spawn a hellgate that leads to a special 5-player dungeon. The twist? A second hellgate that leads to the same dungeon may spawn elsewhere in the world with a second group of players in the same dungeon leading to PvE / PvP mayhem.

As part of the launch party for Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm last week, several graffiti artists got together to decorate a wall with some of the gaming giant's most iconic characters. Large Features Incoming Along with Smarter Zombies

Daybreak's John Smedley took to the H1Z1 Reddit to give players insight into what the team has been working on and will be working towards in the future. Among other things, Smed promised a large number of new features, continued attention on bug fixes, smarter, better zombie AI, ongoing building of a 'massive world' (up to 16,000 square km) and more. 3 Steps to MMO Happiness

I think I have always been a happy MMO fan. I have even been accused of being sappy or of wearing rose-colored glasses when covering MMOs because I tend to, well, enjoy them. I will give it to those who make such a suggestion: playing an MMO primarily through its systems (meaning grinding) is one way to find happiness, but I didn't think that my distaste for the grind should disqualify my particular joy.
